“Alkira” is the latest designer concept home by Virgon Property Group. Located in the sought after Hawthorn suburb of Melbourne, this home incorporates top quality finishes and offers the ultimate luxurious lifestyle. There are a wide range of customisations available and you can see more about “Alkira” by visiting Virgon’s website http://www.virgon.com.au

In collaboration with John and Renato Virgona of Virgon Property Group, Kate Walker of Kate Walker Design helped specify, source and supply the majority of the hard finishes, including tiles, stone, pavers and pool tiles.  Details of the specification are outlined below.

ABOUT THE DEVELOPER:

Directors and brothers John and Renato Virgona established Virgon Property over twenty years ago. Their expertise in property, building and construction, combined with their intricate knowledge of the inner suburban real estate market is the criteria on which they have established their success as new home builders.

Quality, innovation and creativity are the hallmarks of Virgon developments, specifically concentrating on individual designs, rather than the higher volume home building market. Virgon has received numerous awards including their most prestigious “Master Builders Association” award for “Most Innovative Construction”; Virgon has featured in various magazines such as “Luxury Home Design” and the Master Builders Association, “Winning Homes Catalogue”.

Based in Hawthorn, the company has a strong affinity with the prestigious suburbs of Melbourne’s inner east, with the majority of their work conducted there. As a result of their success, they have the recognition and market support from potential buyers seeking a modern, well-designed new home close to most of Melbourne’s best schools.

KWD has grown from a team of two in 2013 to a dynamic group of ten professionals who all contribute to the successful consultancy we have created. Growing up in a family with a mother as an Interior Designer and a father as a successful Ceramic Tile Merchant, it's no wonder I entered the world of design. At Kate Walker Design (KWD), our primary focus is to specify, source and supply stone, tiles and all other hard finishes into projects across Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula, but also interstate and internationally. We embrace a consultative approach and develop lasting relationships with each and every client. It’s what the KWD team knows and loves. “Design is not a thing we do. It’s our way of life.” Kate Walker
